View Full Version : Please Evaluate this?
I recently took down my old HTML Site. I have updated it to be XHTML Compliant and also updated the tutorials to comply with the XHTML web standards.
Before I upload it to some web pace (actually, some recomendation would be appreciated :D) I would like a few opinions.
Note:
I have removed the Images and Examples so that the site is small enough to attach to this message.
Thanks in Advance.

Very Nice Beev!
BTW: How much webspace do you need???
Thanks Kevin.
Roughly 3 Megs minimum. But I hope to expand on the site so the more web space the better.
My old host, freewebs.com has put a limit of 50 files on its subscribers that use the free account. So that is out of the question.
I would prefer free hosing. Ive shopped around, and alot of the free hosts dont allow ftp access or anything else. They try to force you to use their site builder, or whatever.
Thanks again.

Nice, though I am confused. If this tutorial is supposed to teach a newbie how to write anything close to valid XHTML, then why are archaic <font> and <body bgcolor="#xxxxxx"> tags and attributes taught?
Shouldnt the name be changed to HTML tutorial in this case?
You might also want to include some padding at the bottom of those pages.
I see what you mean. I baically rewrote my old HTML tutorials to comply with the new standards.
I never gave it a thought about the font tag etc.
Thanks.

Try Out Netfirms (http://www.netfirms.com) (Their Free Plan). Their Plan Comparison Chart (http://www.netfirms.com/hostingChart) should tell you what you need to know.
Otherwise go HERE (http://www.thefreesite.com/Free_Web_Space/)
Thanks Kevin.
That sound good.
