My eyes are bloodshot, my butt hurts from this  chair, and I have a headache.
How do you guys know when it's time to quit on the computer?

What is this real world that you speak of.... I have heard of this legendary place away from the screen.

For me its time to quit when my 16 yr old starts crying its her turn on the computer........Kids who needs them!
There is life outside the computer room. But you can also take it with you just as my old college buddy does. He works at MIT though, I think I got the crack head job and just code in C all day, & night long.
Atleast I know I have a hobby I fall back on, or a few.

wow.
I started this thread sooo long ago I totally forgot about it LOL!
I've learned I have to quit when my stomach won't quit growling, or I just can't wait to go to the bathroom any longer!!!! Then I dash there and dash back.
Or sometimes I'm so tired my eyelids just keep dropping and I go until I physically can't type anymore.
I hate getting in "the zone" and getting ripped out for things like - laundry. I also get tired of people telling me how nice it is outside when it is and whatever....

Mike I have 3 computers in this house. One is strickly for my faxing and answering machine usage. The other is an old and sweet baby I can not seem to part with and I use it to play my games. The one we both fight for is this one it too is old but at least I can get more surfing and programs on it then the other 2 put together. LOL
Lets see I told her when summer started that when she gets a job she can buy the next computer. Ya right..since she slept all summer and hung out on here everynight without job hunting then forget working now that school will start.
Ah such is a parents nightmare :-(.

when my head feels like it is going to explode from too much knowledge all at once!
When my neck feels like boiling water is being poured on it. Then I endure for another hour or so...

I third that!
The only computer I've got that's hooked to the internet is at work, so I spend lunches and after-work time working on my site and surfing. It's hard not to get sucked in during smaller breaks. ("Just one more tweak, honest!!")
