I am not a pro designer and need assistance basically with my logo and the layout of my webpage. can you guys take a look at it and give me some suggestions? like activating the scroll bars on each section, should I cahnge the colors of the forums?, should I change the main section to be more userfriendly?
my website is www.polygonos.com

Your site is all-around delicious.
I like the picture of yoda on the main site in the header.

Thank you. What do you think of the layout? Should I make it more navigatible? like with using a quick index form on the main section?

I'm not a pro either, but I think it all works and looks great the way it is.

Now comes the test......... Get rid of those nasty tables and do the presentation in CSS.

I like it wow! The only thing is the first page should not be that long. The only thing is don't have so much on the front page that you have to scroll down so far or aleast put more things down the sides.

Yes, I am much concerned about the first page as well. I was planning on using a quick reference section for users to have quick access to the latest ARTICLES/NEWS....etc.
You think music in the splash screen is a good option?
:D
Thanks for your reply!

Dont forget about WMA!
Quality and size is similar to MP3. You can also stream it (using a .wax file). In a test, I re-encoded a full (3:41) song down to 229KB and streamed it from a webpage without a skip or stop on my 28.8k connection. Sounded like crap, but it worked perfectly :)
This thread (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=8822#post8822) has more info on streaming WMA files, if you dont know how already.
