insert image remembers last location

It would be very, very handy if the insert image dialog remembered the last used directory. Now you have to traverse the directory tree to the location you were the last time you inserted an image.

Also the settings 0/0 for width/height if 1st Page can't read the dimensions of an image are not very useful. Blank parameters would be a logical default.

This is true. Or better yet to make Evrsoft's teams lives easier...make favorite folders for images too. You already have the code in place for normal files. Could help save some time for you all.
