Problem w/Preview

I am very new using 1st Page 2000, I can see already that it is a great program.

However, I am trying to paste code into 1st Page and when I try Preview, nothing shows and when preview in browser, nothing shows.

So I know I'm doing something wrong, just can't figure out what unless I need to start with all new code which will be a real pain, I have in excess of 500 web pages.

So you have your page coded and you hit preview and nothing shows?

I assume you are just using normal HTML, not stuff like ASP or PHP

Normal html, nothing real fancy.

Have you already tried reinstalling the program, to see if that fixes it?

Does the HTML help function work? That would diagnose the workingness of the built-in IE.

I removed the program, downloaded again, installed and it is working better.

However, when I click "tidy html" everything in preview disappears. So I guess I better not use that function.

I know this may sound simple, but are you sure you set the default browser for 1st Page to use? Go to options-> preferences -> browsers/prieviewing
