Funny thing is, it took me a minute to figure out that a "Boot" is what we (in the US) call a "Trunk!"

Then again, your site is dedicated to UK information, so there probably won't be any confusion with most of your site visitors! :eyebrow:

I guess that's the dangers you face when you let a Texan loose on the Internet!

I've been having a general bit of tidying up and added some new icons on the find a sale page and wondered what people thought.

Quick loading..... smooth navigation...don't care for purple the on blue buttons..text does not stand out enough for my taste

Looks very nice only the color and the font color on your buttons in @ the left are very hard to read.................

I'm always prepared to accept some ideas... I was thinking of going to a silver with black outline for the buttons. What do you think of this combo?

Tried silver and it looked ****e! Tried a gold look and it weren't so bad....

Was at a friends at the weekend fixing their computer and checked out my site on their machine (800 x 600, 256 colours) and the buttons looked so bad I'm having a complete rethink!

Very nice but I was thinking of something plain and simple.....

As is my habit, I checked your page in various browsers, and it looks good in all save one: Pheonix. (If you haven't heard of it, don't feel bad, it is little used.) The problem is that in this browser, your page shakes. Up and down. Very hard to read. I have no idea as to why this is so, but if it's deliberate, I would suggest that you rethink your strategy. If it isn't deliberate, that's one hell of a bug!
Other than that, pretty good...

Well I have to confess I'd never heard of phoenix and my hit counter tells me what browsers peeps are using when they visit as well. The shaking is nothing to do with me I promise.

I was checking it the other day on a Win98SE/IE6/256 Colours machine and the buttons looked ****e.

I'm thinking maybe of a gold on black background or maybe a black on blue steel.
