Like Admin, I have read the entire thread, whew! I'm really late in this presumably dead debate, (Has Admin had the last word?), but I'm still left with the question of the millennium unanswered, WHEN IS 1ST PAGE 3 going to be released??? Someone ought to make a movie out of this saga! Fascinating stuff, too bad the thread was closed :(
Personally, I still prefer 1st Page. Maybe it's not a big deal for you web gurus, but I LOVE the real-time preview, and the degree of flexibility to the program. HTML Builder is nice, but I hate the nag bar at the bottom, and the wasted screen real-estate. HTML Builder gives no real compelling reason to switch. I'm REALLY anxious and excited to see 1st Page 2003!!! Please hurry up Napoleon!
I am willing to purchase an updated version of 1stP, so there IS a financial benefit for Napoleon to release 1st Page 2003. (Please DON'T call it ..XP). Napoleon, you've got my $29.95 when you release! (Hopefully that's a close approximation of the intended sale price) I suspect that there are others that are willing to pay as well.
I'd love to write more, but I gotta go. Thanks for an excellent product Napoleon! Please don't keep us waiting too long, and DON'T BE A STRANGER!
Until then, WebCoder 4 beta 2 (http://www.tsware.net/beta.php4) has been released. Still a bit buggy, but a very nice editor http://www.5TillFree.com
