Is it possible to make a guestbook if I don't do/have the ability to use server side scripting?

If so, how?

Not as far as I know I'm afraid.

Either use the scripts your provider may offer or try to embed the stuph that sites like bravenet.com offer...

I'd assume if you knew Java well enough it would be possible...But it wouldn't be an easy task.
