Newbie needs a kick in the bu77

Hi everyone,
I hope I'm in the right forum. I have been trying to figure out
how to build my own webpage and I am about as cornfused as they come. It took me all day to make this page yesterday

and I really do want to start making my own pages because this really looks like alot of fun.
The simple online page maker for pacbell I think I have figured out
but know I want to be a big boy and make real pages that look cool. Can someone give me some direction as to where to look for help using the eversoft software?
This software truly looks like it can make some awsome stuff and thats what I want to do.

ByteWizard, a member of this forum, maintains a tool list (http://dev.home.mindspring.com/) of resources for web developers that you'll find very usefull. It includes a list of html and css tutorials that will get you on the right track.

I should probably know by now, but what does HTH stand for?

I'm thinking it means "Hide The Hammer" because the computer just deleted all my hard work. Am I close? :D
