Hi everyone,
I will be moving back to the UK soon, from China. I want to learn new skills when I return.

What, in the readers view should I study and why. ASP is already on the list, and yes Animgirl, PHP is there as well (promice).

Hmm... Perl, CGI, CSS, SQL...

Hi Bor|s,
Thanx for the suggestions. Is PHP and Perl the same thing in different clothes (PHP being the new upstart)?

I studies SQL at Uni, so I guess I had better get out my old notes. They will be out of date by know, but the theory will be just the same.

Yeah, pretty much. Think of PHP as the slightly scaled down but easy to learn brother of Perl. Its still powerful enough for many applications such as forums and news scripts and works well with MySQL.

If you're already a programmer, you should have little trouble learning PHP.

Thanx for the info. BTW. I am not a programmer, but a hardware techy. It's just that at Uni we had to learn everything, even assembly (god that was soooo booring).
