After much reading here and many other places all over the web, I have finally made my first website that I actually coded (I have made other webpages by saving Excel and Word docs as html files). Feel free to check it out and critique it.

Warning: I have never had any formal programming training other than two basic HTML courses I took over the Internet. Everything else I have learned by viewing source code, reading message boards like this one, and visiting websites dedicated to web programming.
By the way, I found this message board to be incredibly helpful. Thanks all.

It looks nice.
After I click on "Otto's Photos", it loads a totally different page, is there a way to go back to the main site without clicking the back button?

Keep suckin' it up - you can never look at too many examples of how things should (or should not) be done.

Sorry to take so long to get back to this thread.
Animgirl, the site that comes up as "Otto's Pics" is a free picture posting service that my mother's husband, Otto, uses to post pictures he takes. I doubt there is a way to have a link created there to get back to my site. I think what I should do is have Otto's page open in a new window.
And now, back to lurking about this site.

Ack! My cutsie mode is starting up.
Your baby is adorable  Congrats!
Quite bold of you to jump right into CSS. It took me ages to get the hang of it, so I was stuck using tables for the longest time. The graphics are very nice...
And she is just soooo cute!!!!!!! :D

First site? I half-expected black text on a navy blue background using giant heading text and about a dozen animated GIFs.
This doesnt even come close. Excellent job.
Awwww Its a baby! http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif I give it a thumbs up since it doesn't have anything to do with the matrix eh? that didn't sound right. Anyway its a good start =)http://digitalelixir.at.lunaticsworld.com/de_avatars/matrix.gif
