Editing tables that have already been created

I want to know if it is possible, and if so how, to re-edit a table (and other elements of my page) once they have been created. In other words, how do I re-open the editing dialoge box relating to a table I have already created. It seems you can only enter options for a table once and if you want to change it again, you have to enter the code yourself?

I would appreciate some help ASAP.

It is much easier for software to write a table from scratch than to understand a table that is already written, especially one that may have mistakes, row or collumn spanning, etc.

It is best to learn table structure and then go in a tweak things on your own. 1st Page is ideal for this since you promptly can preview the results of your code.
