so... 1stPage 2000 is version 2.0 but when was it released... does anybody know ?

Anyways...
It was released in the end of last century on 23/09/1999.

Wow, that was a long time ago... That explains the fact I found this progie on a CD burned in Jan 2000...

Actually I think it came out in 1999. It's kinda like the madden football games, the year is advanced 1. You know, It makes it sound better if it is named a year in advance.

I think you talk about version 1.0, while the second version was released in 99...
