Hi Gang

I'm putting toegther a set of hints, tips and tricks that newbies will find helpful and experienced users might niot know about when using the Internet.

I was wondering if people who use this forum might like to suggest a few things. The kind of stuff someone told you and you thought "I wish I'd known about that sooner.

thanks for replying but I actually did mean general stuff to do with the Internet..... like favourite places to get free fonts, where the best free e-mail without ads in it..... where to get stories published.....

stuff that a newbie might find useful......

Might do a web design one if someone wants to come and offer some input....

Yeah Dave I got a list of free e-mail providers and a long list of search engines.

Thanks for Switchboard BTW, I had a UK site for telephone numbers but not a US one... anyone else out there who isnt in the UK or the US have a online telephone directory?
