Hi! I'm new to this program, and I've just downloaded it. However, I have no idea how to beigin creating my site! If anyone knows of a guide available for this program, or if you can help me personally, please let me know. I need some help getting started. Also, I was wondering if the only way to create a site with this program is with HTML, or if there is another way? I would appreciate any info! :)

lol Whoa, you sure don't wanna mix my name up with that! lol :hahaha: Ok, thanks! My first (of many, most likely! lol) question is how do I start creating my site? Well, I just downloaded it, and I have all the diff. folders such as: Help, Scripts, myCode, Projects, Remplates, Tidy, Toolbar, and WebMag. But I don't know where to go to start building my site! I found out that I think I need to start a project, and this is what I found:

Creating projects
To create a project do this:
Goto the Proj. Tab (on Sidebar)
Click "Project Manager" -> New Project
After Project Wizard loads, enter a project name
Specify the Project Type i.e. (Corporate or Personal Website)
Enter the HTML language you would most likely be using for this project
Enter any project notes you may have
Click OK to create configuration files

Then, I couldn't find Proj. Tab! Do you know which folder to click on, or where to go? Thanks.

Hi again! I can't seem to figure out how to create a background...whether it's a solid color or a design, I haven't been able to make one! I tried, "Create table", but when I previewed it, the code for the design I wanted to use was all that it showed. Can someone please help me make a background?

To create a solid background, include this in your stylesheet. body { background-color: #xxxxxx; }
Replace the xxxxxx with the appropriate hex color code. And if that didn't make sense, let us know and we'll go into more detail. :)
You can find some really great HTML and CSS tutorials at W3 Schools (http://www.w3schools.com). And ask all the questions you can throw at us here!

Hope this helps,

Joe

Oh Moose thanks for this tip. I did it as you said and I now have a test page with background, link colors and background color all using 1st page.

This is the 1st time I was able to really use this program without getting upset that it wasn’t working with me.

The only thing I wasn’t able to accomplish was making my background into a watermark look as I can in word. I did use the box and checked it but the graphic although looking delicious (used some anime hunks LOL); it didn’t lighten it to the watermark type background. Any other helpful advise.

Oh I think we need to ask Moose to sit down and write the tutorial for the program being he is so clear and to the point, step by step in his defining the whose and how’s of it.
What do you say all ROFL.

Oh Admins I have a great suggestion again. Here goes...........Make an area titled 1st Page Tutoral and man it with Moose. Come on give him his due. I for one will be there hourly with questions <evil grin>.
