Hello,

I have been using first page for a while now and I am having trouble when starting it up. When the software starts I am getting the Information window along with this message:

"A main dictionary has yet to be set for this configuration.
Edit Configuration?"

I have tried to set this but to no avail. HELP!! Would love to get rid of this error that I am getting. I am using XP Home Edition on my work Laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

Love the software also and I am also waiting patiently for the new version as well. Any news??

Thanks
IdahoTech

p.s. I atached the error to this message. Hope you can see it and let me know.

I too have the same message on startup, and I haven't been able to configure it either. Anyone out there know what the problem is?

Sky,

I've corrected the problem. Thanks.

Now, anyone else notice that the spell feature checks the html code also? What a pain! It would be nice if the thing would check what I selected, but it always starts at the beginning of the document. Am I missing something?

If you set it to do a real-time spell check you won't have to start at the beginning of the document because it will tell you right away when you've spelt something wrong.

WebDom, I have the same problem. How did you resolve this?

From another thread (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&postid=9238#post9238) on how to install other language dictionaries. Don't know if it has any application or not.

I've had that problem myself (on XP Home Edition.) When I changed the program directory it gave me this message every time I tried to open it. However, uninstalling and reinstalling it fixed the problem. It hasn't happened again since.
