I installed 1st Page 2000 on my Windows XP and then tried to run it by clicking the exe file. The logo window comes up but then nothing else happens. My task manager says the program is not responding but the CPU processes are still running. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I think others have also had problems with XP, and others did not. Not sure if anyone came up with a solution as yet.

Turn off your virus scanning while installing. The virus refferred to is not actually a virus, and you can remove it later if you want anyway.

I had no problem installing on XP Pro, save for the virus alert from Norton which I promptly dismissed after checking the forum.
