A few suggestions

a) Preview - I would like the ability to have preview simulate a download speed, which could be set in tools or something. Say a list with 2, 4, 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, etc kbs per second we could choose.

Maybe an extra tab for the above speed limited preview so you also could choose the fast as possible preview tab we now have.

It would allow designers to see how fast images, etc would load based on the speed chosen.

b) When opening files, ability to select more than one and open all at same time.

c) Ability to CTL-Click page tabs and close more than one at the same time.

d) and finally - Put page tabs up top (line above or below) with preview, etc tabs, or vica versa.

Such a pain to click on CSS page, make change, save it, click on normal page, then click on preview. Way too much screen real estate to travel.

Yes to a, b, c and d.

It's all been integrated in 2004. :)

And maybe the ability to preview your site in other browsers.
Now you can only see it in IE, but not in Mozilla, Opera and so on.

I think you mean the ability to have other tabs for quicker previewing for other browsers.

As you can preview using other browsers as per the menu File/Preview In Browser.... and then choose you Browser.

yes, in the menu above, or as a tab in the preview screen.
Doesn't realle matter, as long as it is there.
It would be really handy :D

I too need that feature. HTML-Kit (Which i use but hate) used to have that feature but it doesn't work anymore so now i am forced to:

search for the button which opens the browser (there are 20-30 buttons on the main toolbar alone)
select the browser
wait for mozilla to open
preview it
search for html-kit in the task-bar
click on it
continue editing

By the way, is fp2004 (if it is real) going to be fp2004, fp2005, fp2006, fp2007, or another 4+ years and be fp2008/9?

Am I misunderstanding you or are you misunderstanding me.

You can already preview in other browsers! Go to menu FILE/Preview browser
