Pop up ads

Is it possible to add code to my web page to prevent pop ups from opening. I have a web page thru my att.net account that occaisionally shoves a popup at someone viewing the page.

I am certain the popup is not generated by anything else I have on the page.

Not sure if there is anything you can do about it.

personally I would check the terms of service agreement to see if it allows them to have popups on your webspace. Harass them to get rid of it or leave.

Hi!

I had the same problem a year ago with the pop up and sent an email to the people who created it stating it was an unauthorised use of my webspace and that if they continued to use this space after 24 hours, they would be charged a rate of $100.00 per day for the advertising, and asked them very kindly to send their name, address and phone number for billing purposes. It was gone in less than an hour!
