Why 'XP'?

I just don't like Microsoft name.

First window name 95
Second Window name 98
Third Window name 2000 - hey wait a minites. This is not home user ? This is for NT (many people brough by mistake)

Fourth window name ME. Wow - name really differ. Can we remember what next version name will be?

Fifth window name XP - what does this mean ? other make up name? (many people have to register by modem and/or by phone in order to work). You are not really brough the Window XP. You just paid the contract on agreement. (no trade off, no selling, no copy to other computer, etc.)

What will Microsoft name will be next?

For Evrsoft - I would like to keep the year number that release.

1st Page 2003 is a whole lot better name than 1st Page XP.

I hate XP !!! Lucky I did not buy window XP. (98 and ME will be last one to use.) OH yet I would like this program to be on Linux.

Please! No moronic names like "XP"! By the time 1st Page XP comes out, it will be old and uncool. The coolest thing around would be Windows FUBAR Power Edition with revolutionary new FUBAR button placed beside Start button that gives you twice the Start power of all previous versions of Windows!

I myself am fond to 3.0. But I believe the reason they put XP on the product is to sell thier big brother package, no? I could totally picture a person have more confidence in something that says XP because of Microsoft. They think its new and reliable.

If nothing else than maybe somebody, somewhere, will actually believe it is FrontPage XP for a very low price (atleast I hope it will be cheaper) and buy it. I dunno, it could happen.
