Does anyone know how to set the default directory that file-open brings up from
1st page 2000 version 2.?

I am running windows 98.
Objective is to always open in the directory on C drive that has all the html
files I edit.

Options | General Program Preferences then go to the General Tab - you can then chose where the explorer points upon program opening (either a fixed default or last opened)
