When installing the program, my virus scan came up with an infected file,
Evrsoft\1st Page 2000\IScripts\Buttons\Six buttons from hell.izs
It reports the file to be infected with the JS/Loop trojan

Is my virus scan faulty or is the file infected ?

There are some other threads about this here (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=122) and here (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=178).

why is it all the threads pertaining to the trojan infection of the download of first page are all invalid. do these guys not want anyone knowing about the virus? is that why they're giving it away for free to kluge thousands of poor suckers computers?
what's the story. i can't find a reply from the organization anywhere that's still a valid link!!!! color me a bit perturbed, the first complaint about the trojan virus was over a year ago.

tincup, the virus questions have been going on forever. there was a major reordering f the forums at one point and a partial crash of the forums database. A number of links to earlier threads like the virus|trojan thread got whacked. No conspiracy ;)

If you really got to read the long sad story, check this search (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=35339&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending)

HELP! There is a virus inside your program! Why do you try to set me up a trojan horse?[/list=1]
The link is broken. Try this one:Re: VIRUS IN 1stPAGE 2000 (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2059&perpage=15&pagenumber=2#post12524) or this one: If all you have is a hammer, you treat everything as a nail (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2059&perpage=15&pagenumber=1#post12338) or this one: Open letter to Anti-virus vendors (http://www.spywareinfo.com/articles/av/six_buttons_from_hell.php).
