Hi,

not sure if I missing something.
But I really liked using pagemill 3 from adobe. Very simple to get stuff up and running. I even bought it :-)

Well I am trying to replace it after 2+ years. I don't make complex stuff.
I have looked at golive 6, and this just confused the hell out of me.

So I started looking for a replacement and came across 1st Page. Run it in EASY mode. Looked nice.

BUT drag and drop doesn't work the way I'm use to. Only in text mode.
can 1st page work a bit more like pagemill?

Or does anyone know of another free package that does?

Kind regards,

Jippie

You can't drag and drop it as you are used to becuse 1st Page is no WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. I don't recommend those editors. They usually put in too much crap in the document.

Wow, qiuck reply.

Thanks, but WYSIWYG is what I want.
Pagemill didn't seem to do anything over the top by adding extra stuff.

Thx

Then 1st Page is not what you want.

I would suggest learning HTML though.

If you want a wysiwyg get editor, spend the money on Dreamweaver ( http://www.macromedia.com/software/dreamweaver/ )

To my knowledge there are no free wysiwyg editors. But Dreamweaver will be all you will ever need if you dont want to learn to code by hand.
