i can't find a way to let people download stuff from my site please help me:( :( :(

You need to provide links to each of the downloads like:
<a href="thefile.ext">Download this</a>
and direct them to right-click on the file and chose save. If you click on it in ordinary fashion the browser will attempt to display files with extensions it recognizes, or for which it has plugins.

if you make it a zip-file, it will automaticly start downloading, as soon as you click it.
