Hi everyone -
I'm a new arrival at this forum, so forgive any howling mistakes I might make.

First off, I'm not even sure that this is the correct forum for my question, but I'm hoping some of you helpful types will point me in the right direction if I've boo-booed.

I used the evrsoft.com SE position analyser tool to check out a site that my friend Jennifer has launched. Entered the URL (http://www.algarve-beach-life.com) and a search term (algarve beaches).
Up came the results - not in the top 50 for any of the 10 engines.

I thought I'd check anyway, so I clicked on the Webcrawler link and, hey presto, there was Jennifer's site at no. 34.

I'm puzzled, to say the least, since I was pleased to have found the evrsoft.com site and even more pleased to have found the SE position analyzer tool. Of course, my excitement has died down a tad since it doesn't seem to work that well.

I don't claim to be an expert on anything, so it's possible I've not done something correctly, in which case I'd be grateful for any input or suggestions from more experienced users.

Thankx in advance -

Sara

I've had the same problem except that the site that i was checking was #1 in the list, i don't know why this happens though.

Sarab, no question is a mistake. Feel free to post your questions :)

I'm sorry to say that I don't know of a solution to the issue, but a new version of FirstPage is set to be released in the (near) future, and hopefully it will be worked out there.

Welcome to the forums!
