Hi folks.
I got a little problem i hope some of you can solve.
Im trying to make a html-site with 3 frames in, one in the top, a small menu to the left and the main window on the buttom right side, quiet standart....
I have a pic i made to 1024x768 pixels croped it so it woul fit in the 3 frames. But i get a strange spacing between the frames (see attached file) What have i done wrong ??
Thanks in advance for all the help im getting. :-)

Maybe the code you used? Try adding the attribute FRAMESPACING="0" to the frameset.

- Why 3 frames with one one cropped image?
- Why only for 1024x768? ( only like 60, 70 % of the internet users, i think)
And there is a scrollbar in the right frame, is that correct?
It still is weird that the framespacing is so big.
Have you added framespacing="5" or something? :)
Framepacing="0" in the frame tag will do the trick, like azlatin said.

Hi Pascal.
Some asweres to your questions:
Why 3 frames: Because i like the design that way. :-)
Why only for 1024x768 : Hmm what reselution should i
then make it in ??
Are there a scrollbar in the right frame: No not yet.
framespacing="5" or something: No my framespacing is "0", but after that i "played" with the left, top and center document, i gote the spacing alot smaller.
But let me ask you a question Pascal, do you have any idear to make my idear possible, with that pic. I have ??
And why shoulden it be with 3 "frames". ??
One thing is sure, I learn alot in these days :-)
and that is nice!!

"Are there a scrollbar in the right frame: No not yet."
What I meant was that, in the image you gave, there is a scrollbar in 1 of the frames.
"But let me ask you a question Pascal, do you have any idear to make my idear possible, with that pic. I have ??
And why shoulden it be with 3 "frames". ??"
Why in 3 frames if you can do it in 1 frame?
With frames you can load different pages in different parts of your site.
Is that what you want?
Cause I don't know what your 'idea' is.

I see your point in, Why 3 frames if it can be done in 1!
Well just to let u know "hehe" My idear was to have the Menu in the left Frame and as you self said, the center frame will be the changing one with all the information. :-)
The top frame will serv as, some kind of a Info and other stuff frame. (I think)
An answer to the scroll in the bottum on the pic, that is a mistake!
But now I got you Pascal, You asked Why 1024*768, should i rater make it in 800*600 ??
And for your info, you can follow my progress on

The problem in doing layouts that only look right using a 1024x768 resolution is that 1/2 of the users out there still use a screen resolution of 800x600. Now, if this is a personal web site, it is up to you. But, if you are selling a product, you are taking a chance of loosing sales. I looked at your site (I use 1024x) and I am still getting a bottom scroll bar. There is nothing more annoying than visiting a site that you have to scroll each way to view the page.
Just my 2 cents.

1/2 users who use 800x600 ????
I thought about 60 to 70% of the internet users has 1024x768.
Me too. Boy, i'm so representative.... Just kiddin'

Don't you think that with the image you use, the text on your site will probably be extemely hard to read?
Diana is right, if you want to sell stuff, your website must be good in the most possible way. (1024x768, 800x600; IE6, Moz1.4, Moz1.6 and so on).
Bye,
Pascal
