A little problem with php

My little problem is that i can´t see the result of my php code. When i write a simple "echo", nothing happen. I have somehow to see this on 1st page. I just want to know this to start my webpage. Thanks.






PS. I'm brazilian, and my english isn´t so good. Sorry for some mistakes... Hehehe :D

1st Page does not have php previewing abilities within it. You need to either upload your files to a webserver account that supports PHP or you have to set up a personal webserver on your machine. If you do the latter, prepare for some major learning curve issues. There are a number of server packages that combine all the tools you need. They go by acronyms like LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and WIMP (Windows, IIS, MySQL, PHP) .

Tell us a bit more about what type of website you have and what your computer is (capacity, Operating System and Version, etc.) and perhaps we can help some more.

Thanks for your replay guy. Well, my website will be a MPOG based on Ferion game (www.ferion.com). Who don´t known what is it, this game have lot´s of players that play some times by day or week. Game based in turns (each turn 1 hour). Summarizing is this, a dinamic webpage (PHP) with a good and easy data base (MySql). My computer is one Athlon 2.2G.Hz 256 MB and more 128 MB video card AGP (Gooood, isn´t it??:D ).
One more thing, i cannot get a interpreter?? I found one editor that i has the same problem. I solve this with interpretor, but the editor has this opition.
