I think there's little wrong with the design visually...
Just that a little introductory text near the top of the index page wouldn't go amiss.
And the templates that I looked at were all a bit 'corporate' or 'blog' in their approach. Perhaps a bit more variety?
I never understand how sites like that exist. Do people really donate?
Good luck with it, though.

I guess the main point is does it offer something different or do the submitters submit unique templates or are these the same templates we see on other sites.
Okay, back to my opinion, (pervious was just an observation), the top area where template of the month and ads by google are wider than the table and its stretching a bit so its invading the gray color on top with the green seafoam color. Overall, pretty good, I like the colors used, but IMO, its missing something, not quite sure what it is. Maybe its the advertise area is in wrong place like maybe the side or something.
I'm gonna back up a bit. I just reloaded the page and now the area of gray is gone where it was invading seafoam green, this was in IE. Anyone else see this too?

Thanks for the advice, but all templates are designed personally by me and my staff...

Improvements again, and it looks a bit better than when you first posted this thread. Things look a bit smoother now.
