who did the redesigning again?
He did make his mark in the HTML Editor Showdown thread the other day.
Why don't you take a couple of hours of your time to enlighten your followers?
What's the story? Is there a story? Is there a new version? Is there going to be?
This forum seems to be slowly dying because so many people moving to newer
editors and growing forums. I personally will probably never stop using 1stPage
because I like it so much. It's a shame though, that this crowd is losing their
religion and their faith.
With all respect...

DCelliot (or however you write it... :p) is also an admin, so he can also change the lay-out.
I also think it weird that there is a lay-out change without telling the users. Just open a topic to say 'hey, it's changed'. Just to have everybody informed.
And why is the forum called 'HTML Code : HTML Tutorial : HTML Help : Web Design' ? That's very strange. Why not 'evrsoft developersforum'? 3 times the word 'HTML'....... html help, html code...doesn't make sense.
And the logo suddenly only containts the word '.dev'. Well, also words as ' webdesign' wich is also in the name :S, an 'HTML' wich is 3 times in the name, and some other words.

I dont think we need to be told that it has changed, i think there are just a bunch of improvements that needed to be made and DE took all of those suggestions and added to them to make what you see today, I for one like it and its easier on my eyes.
As pascal stated Admin privledged have been extended to DE so I'm sure he made all the changes and since he's always on here, I'm sure he would like to hear your comments on what you think.
As far as Napolean, I just think he is uber busy and all and I have come to just take it with a grain of salt as past threads on this same issue have come up. Wether or not he choses to do anything or to talk about it is just his desire. IMO, the forum changed to reflect the idea that its not an evrsoft forum in particular but a community forum on design. If you treat it like that, who cares about any other software.

I totally disagree. It's in everybody's interest to keep the community up to date. It was'nt
me or you who posted the screenshots, or the promise of a new version.
No, it was the Evrsoft founder and the forum administrator himself!
Cut the crap about that he doesn't owe us anything.
He does owe us the truth...IMO the forum doesn't change just because we say so!
It has always been a 1stPage forum with support and webrelated issues, and I truly hope
it will stay that way.

I was paraphrasing a bit on my thougths DanThMan, I meant for software not answers. Admin did say some things about release, but I commented about that in a few other threads so I did not want to spam the board on what I think about Admin. Rest assured I feel similar to you in some ways!
Now to expain what I mean about what he owes or does not owe. You would have to agree, that someone can decide not to continue develop software for any reason. If you don't agree to this then you would have to think along the lines that there must be a legal binding issue between those who downloaded the software on version one. Does it say when downloading that you are guaranteed to get an update. That is what I meant when I stated that Napolean does not owe anything. Did he say he would, YES, but does that mean that he legal owes us?
My second point is you quoted me and some of what was quoted I never said in this thread. I simply stated IMO and was not spoken truth by all. I never meant to say that this forum is not evrsoft, cuz it is, but its change shows more of an openness to more of a free will community type forum (hense the name html this and that) without the EVRsoft this and that and no other discussions of any other software.
Here are some thoughts........Does a mass email need to be sent out that a new smilie is available or can admin go ahead and change it. Nope, IMO, admin can change anything here since it is his site. Do we have be told that there is a newer banner and updated CSS? Nope again. I think you misunderstood the respondes on the forum updates and flame more on admin himself.
NO disrespect DanThMan. You comments are duely noted.

Admin has finally spoken in a thread near by you!
In this thread I was only hoping to make admin see why he should say at least something!
I don't know what made him speak.. but spoken he has
and it sounds really interesting too

and Terminator...
I was only trying to stir up some dust :joy:

Yep already reponded to that thread and a BIG BRAVO to admin for posting, what DanThMan would say a bone to us.
 back to DanThMan, I understand, some would take what you said and really run away with it. I too am glad Admin posted.
