I have used the 1st page 2000 html editor for my only web page build. I am pretty new at this and like the option to see what ohter people are doing. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to download the new version of 1st page.

One post down, 99 more to go!!

I'm always surprised at how horrible some editors are.

I was at a thing where a person insisted on programming his C++ code in a program called Maruo (or something like that), which might have been the worst development environment I've ever used. When I'm writing C, C++, PHP, or even JavaScript, there only one basic thing that I ask:

Auto-indentation! When the program sees a {, it should indent the next line. And when you press enter, the next line should start at the same place the previous one did, even if it was something like 2 tabs and 3 spaces from the edge. I don't know of any programmers who would not like something like that.

2dbindel: It is kinda hard for me to combine in the same sentance the expression "pay money" and the word Linux :p

Also, here in Israel, .net magazine costs about 1.5 times more than in the UK...

Anyway, if someone has the first cd of .net magazine issue number 60, pm me pls...

Here is my breakdown:

Featurewise:

Dreamweaver > First Page 2000 > notepad > WSIWYG

Value Wise

First Page 2000 > everything!!!

My webpage would be all text if it weren't for First Page 2000. Now, my webpage wont be color and text because I have this message board to discuss HTML tips for the future. Evrsoft has created a great community.
