Free software for everyone »
All my software is from today FREE to use for anybody both private and commercial use, the same concept I once started with for almost 5 years ago.

You properly think why? The reason is simple – for me one of the biggest satisfaction with MPSOFTWARE have always been watching the growing popularity for my software, the feeling of sharing my software with other people and I have always believed that software should be free to use for anyone!

However, the money is necessarily that’s why I once started charging money for my software to ensure the continue work with MPSOFTWARE in maintenance and development of new software products but also to cover the administrative cost i.e. licenses, domain registration, server...

Today, I can only encourage all new user who likes and finds my program useful to make a donation in order to ensure the continue work with MPSOFTWARE.

Finally, I like to thanks all those users who have made a registration (paid for my software) - you have all truly supported and ensured the continue work with MPSOFTWARE and I hope you all understand why I am making all my software free for both private and commercial use.

Is this Napoleon's unknown brother or what?
I'm really confused right now....

Interesting program but I got a couple of runtime errors while using it. I don't like the search and replace (it starts from the top rather than from the cursor), the integration with HTML Tidy found errors that were not present (i.e., not found by other implementations of HTML Tidy) and corrupted my code. There is a sort of WYSIWYG editor that you could use for moving text blocks around but not much else. A number of code libraries are present which is something some folks may find helpful. It lasted about an hour on my machine - not ready for primetime.

There is a lot of extras that are missing but for basics not too bad. The interface is pretty good and the code libraries for JS and PHP are nice. Could support more of HTML and XHTML, but all in all not too bad. I'm thinking that for version 12, I could be a bit more advanced than it is.

So far no errors. Runs quick and clean and small download.

For basic editors,, 6/10 stars.

DanThMan, I agree a weird coinsidence indeed. Michael Pham (mpsoftware!) has same last name. Does Napolean have a brother? I really don't want to speculate, but this is just very interesting. I like the software also, its not too bad at this stage, but need to grow a bit.

I will say the it might appear that they are in fact two different people, but I cannot confirm this. The whois search does show register from Denmark. I did talk to him and he visits his board many times a day about the similarities. That is where is ends so hopefuly that answers your question DanThMan. I had to find out also for myself. IT does not really matter, but I post what I know and found out.

Ya i talked to the creator of mpsoftware and he thought it was interesting to.....
Visit link here. (http://www.mpsoftware.dk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=78)

He stated he has nothing to do or have ever helped create firstpage and the name is merely a coincidence. He is on his forum a lot and responds quickly to answers. He also has a to do list that he updates. I have downloaded all his software and I'm trying it out. I'm might be the perfect solution for a friend of mine who wants to learn the basics and edit pages I've done. The other coincidences are also very interesting since he started back in 2000 or so. He also mentioned that he finds the whole story kinda funny.

Quoted myselft!.....
That's what I said Grim. I talked to Michael Pham in his board. According to my post, unique similarities is all. Michael found it erie too for sure, but that is where. He confirmed to all here that he has nothing to do with Firstpage XP, 2000 or whatever. If you even look at his sottware, it incorporates new ideas, but the scheme is totally different.

We are not related at all, maybe he came from the same country but that's where it ends. :)

I think, but not sure, that Admin is an aussie (Australian). Many computer programers come from Australia's Gold Coast. Not sure why, but some of the best software has come from that location.
When you really dig into it DanThMan, you see so many similarities, the funny thing is the other "Pham" jokes about the whole similarity thing. But I'm positive that its a different person. The other Pham has habits on his board that I've picked up on.

I've downloaded "the other Pham's" editor, and I will try it out as soon as I've
got the time and energy!

I have not had time to really check out this new software much but does not appear to be too stable from a quick glance. It seems to me that if Napolean was to come out with new software after all this time it would really knock your socks off. There are just so many great free/cheap html editors out there that it makes it hard to plunk down serious money.
