View Full Version : My turn...
I made this for a friend that was color blind...
I have a color copy as well but in the process of doing it in grey scale I thought this to be the best effect.
Simple B&W (http://digitalelixir.at.lunaticsworld.com/funky/simpleb&w.jpg)
Its free to distribute and clean. Just remember where you got it. :D

It's an object and it's reflection, right?
BTW, your host does not support direct linking so I suggest you to change the host or to reduce the image size and to upload it to the forum...

I like everything exept for the shear effect, its kind of distracting and off puting, but other than that its dynomite...what are you using to make this?
Well the shear effect came across in the color version too. I forgot to not make it that way. Happens alot when I do it in Bryce. I think I did this one in 3dMax... I think?
I noticed I should've posted to the 3d art instead. =p
Oh well
Dealing with Bryce and 3dMax its pretty simple to make the 3d art. but takes out all the fun. Usually takes a good eye to make it better than the 3d render to make it art. =p
Complex 3d is more fun but when it comes to cool little simple things its like coming up with an idea in seconds as well as the render time.
Check out the portfolio on my web site and view the Image named "ETOS". Less complex but more fun to play with.
Getting the models do pose is another problem in most cases.
humm I'll be back in a few days I'll load up some more art work. :D

My neighboor promised me he'll teach me 3DMax! =) Is that worth it?
Its pretty simple. Just has a small learning curve, also it will teach you to think in 3 demensions not the 2d that your aware of.
As for him teaching you. That might be pretty cool since i picked up this stuff all by myself =p.

Hehe, sure it's kewl, his job is to create models via 3DMax... :p
I wonder if I could learn alot more than what I've done so far. LOL Bryce has alot of limitations of what I really want to do. I enjoy 3dmax alot more than bryce. 3dmax doesn't emulate very well inside my windows emulator for OpenVMS. So I have to always drop down to Windows =( Very anoying.
Here's another image that I created.

And yet again here is my home page.

I've got thousands of projects but just don't have the time between working and updating my site. =(

just a heads up your site isnt workin
Thanks sorry I forgot to tell everyone I moved my 3d 2d art off my site. I moved it to Devaintart.com
Found here digitalelixir.deviantart.com (http://digitalelixir.deviantart.com) Also you can see A LOT of my latest stuff there.
If your not aware of deviant art. They support my art stuff with copy rights to better insure my stuff. And I know that this is just a cross like spam nature "post" but this is just a public forum just as it says it is. So whether your an avid user or not I'm really not spamming the deviant art sight. I'm just pointing out that my art is on those servers for a reason. I'll post "B&W simple" back up to the website as soon as I find it. I sorta named it differently.
Sincerly ~Drak
--="Reason I'm doing a make over on the website sorta in a jam with real life stuff since I only really get to play with my website 1-2 hours out of the week now.=--
Okay back up sorry about that. BTW click past the error page from the server. They provide you with a link to it. I know its an extra click and an extra 5 seconds of reading.
But it works and it is absolutely free heh. I didn't do any copy rights with it. =p

Deviant Art rulez!
:D Deviant art rawkshttp://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/images/icons/icon4.gif
Updated my homepage. Only one page in the update has Tables, when I stop being lazy about it I'll go fix it. Also working on content :p. Gotta remember I don't do this stuff for a living. I'm just going after the layout and style right now. its not w3c nor is is compliant with 4ver browsers. I'm sure its not NS6 happy but your reply could help I don't have it downloaded.
Thanks Dave... :D Not sure if i like that slide in effect though. I'll probably go with a more javascript like approach to it.
Since the slide seems to only work in IE flavored Browsers.
Yeah so I cheated in this next bit. :p I moved from my free host back into my domain after some dude hiested it from me back in 2000. :p
How did I cheat? I started using a CMS *lol* I'm still keeping the CSS / Layout area i had alot of fun with it. I Got to learn some things that was very fun and helpful.
Eh well I'll create a javascript splash screen sometime in the future. Somehow i lost all the traffic I used to have.
Thanks all for the comments.
