You guys are great. I have been using Arachnophobia for years but have now abandoned it for 1st Page. But.....
I cannot take Arachnophobia off my computer just yet. There are two MAJOR features missing from 1st Page (unless I missed them somewhere):
1) It is often the case that I need to open 15 pages and make a global change to each and every page.
1st Page only lets me open pages one at a time. We need to be able to select any number of pages at once when using the OPEN feature.
2) Even when going through the hazzle of OPEN file one at a time, the FIND/REPLACE will only search and replace on one page at a time, instead of all open pages.
These two features are REALLY NEEDED.
Thanks.

Ditto
I use the NoteTab editor which has global search and replace and Regular Expressions - very useful when the text you want to replace isn't always EXACTLY the same. I see a powerful text editor and an HTML editor as having complementary functions, though. NoteTab is programmable to do complicated formatting and other operations that you can't expect an HTML editor to do. If you want to check it out it is at:

I'd just like to add that you could get alot more users if you had a global search and replace function.. it's easy enough to implement and you shouldn't have to have a seperate text editor or anything just to run it.
If the majority of web designers are anything like myself and the other designers I know, we don't like having huge amounts of windows open, we want all our functions available without having to switch windows constantly because on a decent sized website I find I am always using it. If you want more professionals using 1st page (and it's a nice package, well done :-P) then please add this function.

I agree... but the program is called Arachnophilia. Philia meaning love, as opposed to phobia meaning fear. Arachnophilia 4 was the best whereas v.5 was a slow piece of java garbage. Arachnophilia 4.0 is good for editing documents quickly, so for anyone looking for another good editor, I recommend it.

It would be nice to have a global search and replace in All fields of the test suite in one step, instead of repeating that for each field category.
You can add a sub menu as:
Search and Replace -> Fields Within -> All Occurence
Thanks.
