Alright, I just threw this together in about 30 minutes after some minor help from my friend David Elliott. I want it to be the homepage of my website, but need opinions first.

Let me know what your think, and post whether you like the Light Background or Dark Baground. The link is in the box ont he left to switch between them.

Very nice, especially that the layout is css based. I prefered the dark background because the light one seemed to have too much radiance/gamma, but it might just be my graphics card settings which are set to add radiance because everything seemed to be dull without it.


Edit:
If you remove the stylesheet all together, thn the links at the top are all together and look like one long link.

what exactly do you mean by "but i think someoen went a little over board with all those div's" - thats how you use CSS to make a design...and i had to give each one its own container so that all the widths came out right and didnt end up with a horizontal scrollbar...I learned that from DC

Well Kevin - you do have more divs than required. You have used them like people used tables in the past. Using empty divs for spacing and such may not be the best idea overall. You only have to use "outline blocks" from the web developer toolbar in Firefox to see what we mean.

Yeah, those DIVs look really empty when you can't even find them...

Its been awhile now Kevin? when will you move area51 into the lime light? 80 percent completion now for about 4 months. Just curious.
