Howdy everyone. I love the 1st page 2000! Any chance I can get some critique regarding my page?

Ya, on dial-up it takes awhile. You should make your pictures the same size as they are on the website. I notice that your first picture is bigger than what we see.

Thank you Flogg for pointing that out to me.
I'll work on that this weekend.
Appreciate the critique:)

Load time was a bit long even for DSL.

I would think there would be a quicker way to set up your nav buttons, smaller too in my opinion.

I like the idea of the Liars Corner, perfect for fishing

Thanks Scotyyz....I'll relook at things this weekend and also optimize some of the gifs or make them jpgs.
Trule appreciate the advice.
Glad you like Liar's Corner...we will have on ein the shop also which should be fun:)

gif's are normally smaller files than jpeg as you can limit the # of colors in the palet. Check out the http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=4 graphics section for more info on pic formats

Im running on a cable internet connection and i have to say the load time is about 12 seconds (a lil laggy) the pics arent too bad but the general layout of the site is not audiance pleasing it is kinda basic and cluttered. I specialize in GUI's and i think you would be much better along that route then html only if you have some image experience otherwise i suggest a table system of some sort and a new set of buttons.
