Darn Flash

hi guys, i am a "noob" at flash, i no how todo some stuff and how it works, its just well im haveing a situation, my current site, laffo.co.uk a amatuer webhosting thing i made, well the ftont page looks like crap, and i think everyone will agree with this, now ive got hold of a Brilliant flash template, and its the biz BUT :arghhh: i cant seem to Edit the text now ive downloaded alot of the popular programs todo it, and well thats not working.
its just a general SWF file, but its got txt init and such that i want to change, is there any program that i can just use to edit the txt files? the closet ive got is "Flash digger plus" now that is realy easy, but im a student and cant aford to pay for the licence thing, so is there any other "free/freeware/shareware" thing i can use to acomplish my goal?

Well you can use many trial software packages that are out there to edit what you want. Some templates show how to edit the files and some actually provide editable text files that is used for the word content but that portion is all up to how designed the swiff file.
