Hi, i'm a developer and if you haven't just find this bug, try this steps :

- after open a html file with 1st Page 2000 on Win 2k
- make the html file read only ( i've made it opening the file with MsWord )
- try to save the file with 1st Page then you receive the message "Can't save the file"
- after that close 1st Page now you see the Access violation.

I hope i can help you! :)

Hi -

I'm using the beta version of First Page 2006.
I'm a new user, and love the tool, except that:

After about a half hour of simple use, editing an HTML file, I get the message
"Error - access violation at 0xnnnnnnnnn
(tried to write to 0xnnnnnnnnnn), program terminated"

In some cases my entire machine freezes. Looks like a big memory leak.
I'm running with Windows XP.
