Ok so I got really bored so i decided to finally work on a personal site and portfolio, i bought alex-elliott.com and some ad free hosting it's pretty low-spec but i need little bandwidth/space and it was cheap. I plan to make 3 completely independant skins for the site, but so far i have only completed one. I will update this as i complete them but i would like c+c on them so I can hopefully improve them.

So far I have the default skin up but I am working on a green and a blue skin to follow, all pages will be XHTML 1.0 Strict valid and CSS valid.
So are there any ideas or comments you guys can give to help me out?
thanks in advance as always :p

ah ad Free hosting,,wise choice and you will appreciate the support behind it specially since its a profolio type of site.
The site look similar to a blog site, are you wanting it to be bloggish? I like the menu area and the reason cuz its different...nice header image and colors pleasant to look at.
4.5 out of 5 for me. Looks good and cannot wait to see the other skinned version :)

Yes I am trying to make it a bit of a portfolio and a bit of a personal site because i dont think one or the other would do very well so i'm trying to bring them together in a way that supports both ideas.
I may start work on the next one some time today... though i do seem to do my best work at 2am for some reason >_<

It just looks like one of those parking pages that are there when you haven't added any pages.
