Table summary ????

I use the table and cell type layout all the time. Now that I am using 1stPage, I have found that I'm missing the summary. I didn't know that there was such a thing. After looking at the description of it at W3C, I don't know where to put this text or what the text should say. W3C didn't explain it and neither does 1stPage. Can someone help?
