CNET Says "This title is no longer available!". Although the mirror site does work.
The problem is that I have recommend 1st page 2000 all over my site, and most people don't look for the mirror site.
When is CNET going to carry it again, or when is it going to be removed?
Or am I just unlucky, and every time one of my customers goes there it is gone, but the rest of the time it's fine?

So why not giving a direct link to an alternative d/l location instead of linking to C|Net?
Take a look at my post in this thread (http://developers.evrsoft.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=423)

When you download my templates there is instructions for using them. That's where I mainly link to 1st page. Which means that I have over 30 zip files that I would have to change, rezip and then reupload. Plus I link in at least one other spot. Plus, I have a cgi script that creates all the files for me, which means I would have to go in and change my script too.
The original way the templates was set up, wasn't done by me. I kept the original set up, I just changed the links from arachnophilia to 1st page, and kept it at that. I guess I will go through in the next week and remove all the 1st page links, and instead just put a read me file that links to a tutorial on my page. :( It's a lot of work.
I had thought about changing the set up for awhile, I just had different reasons why that weren't very pressing. Oh, well, I guess that's how the Web works. We write and learn and rewrite.

A quick bit of advice...
I personally don't like CNET, I used to use them but hen I found that they had way to many sponsers thus the quality and quantity of free prgrams were few and far between...
I now use http://hotfiles.com , its a much better site, and it seems to me to have more relevant search results...
I agree with DeSaCS.
Every time I go to their "free" download, I wine up demo program.
I go to their program web site and look for free program. Some have demo, free, or full price.
Why can't Cnet check type of "cost" of download.
Also I don't like to fill out the form before download.:grrrr:

I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner, I have been having problems with my internet connection.
Thanks for your help. I guess I'll go through and change all of my links. :(
Have a Great Day
