Saving files

If have more than one html page opened in 1st Page and switch between the files and then open the save window to resave the file the save window remembers and lists the last page name I saved as the save name which may not be the one I'm trying to resave. If your not thinking many times you save the page as one of the other open documents. Shouldn't the program always remember the active documents save name and eliminate the problem. Does anyone else have this problem.

I find that that's the standard on most programs that open several files at once - the file you last saved is the one it assumes you're saving, rather than the file you last viewed, so it may be a Windows thing.

Thank for the response, but I don't find that to be true at all. I was just using Paint Shop Pro and had numerous files opened and the program had no problem remembering the names of each file. Also, I don't believe I've had problems with Homesite when I used it.

So I assume that the programming teams for each app decide what their users will want most - to re-save the last saved file, or to save the current file. And sometimes they get it right - and sometimes they don't! :D
