I have installed first page in three machines and it runs perfectly (WinXP)
However after installing it in another machine,(WinXP) I am getting during launching the programm a message:There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into the drive.
I unintalled and reinstalled it three timebut the message is still there...
What is wrong? Thank you,
Paul

Running XP, service pack 2.
1st Page 2000 v2.00 free

Everytime I start the program, a warning dialogue comes up saying, "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive E:. I have to click on cancel 5 or 6 times in order for it to continue. My E: drive is my DVD-rom/CD-rw drive.

Is there a solution to this error?

Its Paul again...
I come to think that maybe is a kind of virus that came along with the programm?
Because the same error message started to appear on another programm, which was running perfectly before...Any ideas?
Thanks,
Paul

You had a removable drive that you removed improperly, and windows is trying to find it while loading those programs. I had the same issue where it was looking for a specific drive and I had a removable one that I took off just after install 1st page 2000, once I connected the drive the program would work. You have to click on the remove hardware icon in your task bar to stop the drive and remove it. You cannot just unplug it.
