I can't even get started

I just downloaded 2006 but when I open it the "loading code tree..." window stays up so i can't do any work.

Does anyone have a solution?

my first post so maybe in the wrong place...forgive the error if so.

I love this program!
yes, there is a "BUT" to it. Suddenly, when I try to initialize the program, MSFrontPage tries to open it...?
As I have removed, deleted all folders but one...the bin folder (which refuses to be deleted), I am assuming that this is the problem.

I have been to the program, but for the life of me to try to start it on the quick start menu or its icon....no way is it possible and I cant remember how I got into it without the little MSFrontPage error message coming along too ....(grrrrrr)

By the way, the error message says:
the feature you are trying to use is on a network other than the one you are using.
Then the installer for MSFP tries to install a program <frontpage> that isnt there.

Help! lol im pulling my hair out at this one.

This forum is about EVRSoft FirstPage 2000/2006 and not about Microsoft Frontpage :smack:

Can you be a bit morte clear in your posting. Are we talking about a bug in Firstpage or in Frontpage?

It sounds like you need to change your preferences for which program opens your html files. It is still set to FrontPage and you need to reset it to 1st Page.

Well they have not answered the questions really also so its hard to say if they have both programs installed. My guess its just one
