JPEG Buttons

OK. Very new to this. Have a blog on blogger. A fellow blogger asked me if I had a "jpeg button" that he could post on his site as a link to mine.

I have a .jpg pic I want to use but cannot figure out how to create a "jpeg button" out of it that will link to my site.

I know it has to be simple, but I can't figure it out!

Help! Please!

Yes. Like that. Except with a .jpg file that is actually a picture of me. I can't figure out how to do it. I can create a link, but it's an empt box with a red x in it. No picture.

Is this blog on your own web space??
Maybe remote linking is not allowed?

No not mine. Blogger.com owned by Google. Tens of thousands of bloggers on there. If you open up a browser and type this in the address line (http://photos1.blogger.com/hello/198/9560/320/MIB.jpg) it will open my picture. I want a "button" with that picture that someone else can put on their website and when visitors click on it it will take them here: http://hipsubwg.blogspot.com/

Just can't figure it out. Been frustrating me for a week now. Downloaded several programs, but can't get them to create this output for me.

Downloaded several programs, but can't get them to create this output for me.
I'd be tempted to whip our adaware now ;). Just in case.
