MSN may be #3, but remember this. The front page of Internet Explorer is the MSN search engine, and the majority of people still use Internet Explorer. I'm surprised MSN isn't above Yahoo.

Well you have to remember back in the day when Yahoo added services and a frontpage of news long before MSN. Yahoo has history and services that drew ppl in and those ppl still influence a lot of others. MSN will never be first, but they might try to take 2nd. Plus many people change their homepage. Also if they buy one, they get that company listed as their homepage, for instance, DeLL and HP etc.

Well even IE is going down now... firefox is getting high. And just homepage doesnt make a person visit a site. Features and Quality thats what people look for. Yahoo! has features and Google has quality.

Firefox isn't doing that well overall. I know there are hundreds of thousands of people who don't even know Firefox exist, and millions more who just don't feel like switching, and millions more who like IE better.

It's doing better than it ever has, and seems to be on the rise still, so don't knock it, taking the top spot takes a long time. ;)
As to "millions more who like IE better", they are obviously deluded.

taking the top spot takes a long time.
especially if that browser is not preinstalled like IE is :)
Its does not matter which is on top though, use what you like...:), if you like IE, use it, if FF is your gig, use it, if someone asks what is best, say, whats best for me is FF because etc etc...
