Have you ever tried offline advertising for your site? I wrote my site name on some bathroom stalls but that's as far as I've gone.

And now they know who to contact on vandalism :), all in all, never tried that however I do send out flyers occasionally, but in the end offline marketing has not worked for me.
I use offline advertising sometimes, by means of business cards ALOT, bumperstickers always work too, giving them out to clients, friends and family. T-shirts work great for advertising and contest prises too.
I have never done this yet, but just read about it on another board and I am definately going to do this soon is sponsor school team or local area sports with my companies name. This would generate alot of business and traffic!
I think the best offline advertising is in your local penny saver (small town publications) or coupon book. America's Favorite coupon book has high circulation and it is very effective.
Hali, you are so right. I have a friend who uses one of those and it pays off for her really well. She told me her advertising basically pays for itself long term plus some from using those little coupon books.
