My Little Square

Hi all,

Have just launched probably the most pointless website ever, but hopefully it is original and maybe it will make me a couple of bucks?

The idea is that you buy a little square and use it to say anything you want. If it gets busy enough, I have a few ideas to liven it up a bit.

So... I would be extremely grateful to anyone who takes a look, tells their friends and even better, buys a square - only $1 !!!

This is the milliondollarhompage. Of course you knew that. The number of people with minor variations of that one idea are probably up in the thousands.

Mostly, sites like these are fads. You don't have to be first, but the first guy to work the publicity angle successfully gets the lion's share of any business (like 99%). The several thousand imitators split that last remaining percent or two. Currently the thing to copy is the paperclip trader guy. And there are probably hudreds of imitators all ready -- none of which will be acceptably successful for the same reason. Each of these thinking their minor variation is in some way original.

You have to be a first, not an imitator with these kind of sites. And you are at least three fads behind the times.

I think this is pretty neat. It is like having your own llittle billboard on the internet highway. How is it going so far. i hope you do well! I think you should try to market it as a themed board, maybe you can get a list of people from all one college or something.
