Do you purchase traffic?

I was curious to see how many people purchase traffic. What companies do you use that are reliable? Do you always get high quality traffic? What is the conversion rate?:jumpy:

I would also be interested in hearing about any reputable places with low costs for this. Is it targeted traffic? Are the results worth the expenditure. I would only be interested in targeted traffic, I think.

From my understanding, purchased traffic is not long term and only gives you profit to good stats temporary. I am not sure why people pruchase alot of traffic like this. I find traffic earned with good content and different approaches like search engine type alot better because people are prone to stay and become daily vistors.

Till now I didn't buy traffic, if I do I must be certain that people will come back by their initiative, buying traffic is IMO only a way to advertise.
