How can I get IE 6 to default to editing using 1st Page?
Mine defaults to MS Word.
Using Windows XP.

You can't (as far as I know). You might have to settle with notepad, or an alternate HTML editor for editing directly from IE.
If you want to know how to change your current editor. Go to your menubar, and click on Tools-->Internet Options... -- Then click on the programs tab and you can choose your preferred editor from the dropdown list. Unfortunately, 1st page doesn't show there :(

I have attached a registry patch that will make 1st page your default editor.
Back up your registry before applying any foreign reg files. (I almost never do, but that is the standard warning)
Download the registry patch.
Delete the .txt extension (couldn't attach it with the .reg extension - bulletin board rules, I guess)
Right click on it and chose edit if you want to look at the key information, or chose merge if you want to insert it in your registry.
