I'd like a review of my site, as I'm learning by doing.

I started off writing raw HMTL, finally found HTML-Kit and a couple of HTML help Web sites and finally First Page 2000. Now I've got a mix of some of this and some of that.

Even though my site seems to function alright; I'm sure it isn't a clean, mean and fast machine.

Please be gentle with me, we virgins get nervous and tend to scream alot.

Your table of links might need moving. Some people like to go straight for the information they're looking for, rather then scrolling down, then looking for it. Try placing it in an accessable place (such as just below the banner). Also, thinking of repeating your TOC more then twice on the page? Dont do that! If people want to get to the TOC, they know where to go!

Some of your graphics seem bigger then they need to be. Smallness is the key. Making your text slightly smaller will allow you to fit more content in a given area without sacrificing readability.

Be consistent! 20 different colors hurt the viewers ability to read what you're trying to say.

Prioritize your information! Do people really need to know your address before they actually read your content? Probably not. Something like that usually belongs at the bottom.

I applaud your creativity, but sometimes its better to aim for usability. Good luck with the site!

Its normal for your first page to suck, but keep practicing and pretty soon you'll be able to wield HTML like how Jason wields a chainsaw in Friday the 13th.

Also, don't be afraid to analyze other pages and figure out what you like about them. Most of the things you like will probably have to do with how easy to use they are. Use these ideas for your own websites.

Concentrate on usability first, then develop for creativity and style. Many great websites were designed on this principle.

at this point all i can say is YIKES!
you definitly need to set your priorities for what you want on the main page... Very cluttered. i also suggest a better color scheme and clean looking graphics. Is there even any table layut to this page? look into getting a nice smooth flowing website layout.
and the banner looks like it got hit by a tornado look into fixing that with an image editor like photoshop 7. with a lil time and effort i really think you may be able to whip this site into shape.
